There is no place on earth like Manhattan. Not a day goes by where we here at Orthrus do not appreciate the fact that we live and work in Manhattan. So in honor of the city that we love and inspires us on a daily basis we decided to post some really cool images we came across that captured its beauty and uniqueness.

If you have been watching the news lately or just living life chances are you are aware the volcanic eruption(s) in Iceland that is basically put a stop to all commercial flights over England. Though we feel for the those stranded and affected by this unfortunate turn events, the one upside to this is the great photos coming out of the volcano eruption.

On March 27th 2010 at 8:30 pm millions around the world will turn off their lights for one whole hour. Earth Hour is in support of clean technologies and clean jobs.

The world’s first fair trade cola launched last month. Based in Malawi (one of the world’s poorest countries), Ubuntu is made by guaranteeing its farmers an above market price for their crops. At £1.50 per day, this is six times the average wage in Malawi.
